Out of Control (ooc)

A curated, multi-modal archive platform. Curators add material from preset sources (archive.org, pan.do/ra instances; YouTube later) by pasting a link; an agent drafts a processing plan; the curator edits and approves; jobs extract metadata, page-accurate text, structured datasets (parquet/DuckDB, with extraction reports and a generic filter/chart/map viewer), multilingual embeddings (pgvector), geo (PostGIS) and time references. Material is navigable by space, time, theme and similarity — the foundation for browsing, analysis notebooks, and video storytelling tools.

Django 6 + Celery + Postgres (pgvector + PostGIS) + DuckDB. A/V playback and time-based annotations live in pan.do/ra instances; LLMs via OpenRouter, tiered by task.
